Something has come over me! ;)

All the sudden, I'm really speaking my mind ~ especially w/ men. I guess that all the dating has boosted my self confidence enough that I'm willing to call "bullchit" when it needs to be called and live w/ the consequences.

Monday evening, I finally really put the "One Date Wonder" on notice. I gave him a couple of passes b/c of some serious things that had been going on in his life, then I realized that it bothered me that I'd given him so much slack. Yeah, I believe that he's a really nice guy deep down. I also know that he's really bad at communicating and that b/c of that, he's hurt my feelings. I don't think that I'll hear from him again. And that's OK.

Last weekend, xdMM was online way past normal time ~ b/c his live in girlfriend was out of town to visit her Mom. And he was a little too flirty. We wound up talking on the phone and I spoke some truth to him, too. He's not happy in his relationship (it's the same friggin' relationship he had when he was married) and is headed toward screwing around. So, I called him on it. This is a man that doesn't listen to anyone about this kind of stuff and I never broached it when he was married b/c we didn't talk about his relationship w/ his wife. But he listened to me that nite. And he thanked me for being honest. And of course, he wishes that I was still in town b/c he misses me. "Too late, bebe. You had your chance when you were single. You turned it down and I moved. We'll always be friends."

And I told the Boy Toy that the Boy Toy thing wasn't working for me anymore. He's welcome to date me, but less than that ~ the time has passed. He wasn't opposed to that at all. :)

Since I've done all this, I've got three dates lined up and I met a guy that has been trying to get me to meet him for the past three months. And while he's not dating material, he is certainly Boy Toy Material!

As hart would say ~ I'm bringing sexy back! ;)
