LB, some men are just pusses when it comes to ending a relationship and they pull this fade-away bullshit.

If the relationship is balanced, he should miss you the same way you miss him. He shouldn't need your prompting for suggestions to spend time together.

Like I said, give him an opportunity to take an "out" and see what he does. Be strong and mature and simply say, "hey, I think it would be a good idea to take a break from the relationship" and leave it at that. The ball is in his court. If he jumps on it, then there is your answer. If he doesn't and seems clueless then YOU need to be honest and tell him what your concerns are and that the relationship right now doesn't fit all of your needs.

Relationships should flow and be non stressful. They should not cause confusion, tears, or heartache.
