depending upon what each person considers "well". Just about every woman who has stuck it out on this board has reached a place where they are happy in their lives.

A very very few, like Folie, have been able to keep a friendship with MM many years after the EMR is over.
A very few, like me, have married their MM and not had continuing issues of family's acceptance or doubts as to whether he'll cheat on them.
A lot of MMs got busted along the way, many of them threw the OW under the proverbial bus and went back to their marriages, but the OW DID survive and thrive.
I think the largest group of OWs are the ones who decided that an EMR isn't where they want to be and have moved on to find someone else .. or just be happy on their own.

Very, very few OWs didn't learn something here that helped them on their way to a happier, healthier life.

So yes, it nearly always ends well.
