	the EMR ended, we went well over a year without any contact. Mine has been over 8+ years, I've seen him twice in that time period. We now exchange emails every so often. But friendship? Not really. I would describe it as "cordial acquaintances"....we respect each other's space. It was the right decision for me, I don't regret ending it, I probably regret more having the EMR. But that's in the rearview mirror. For me, I would consider it the appropriate ending.
