Not saying it will be the easiest thing you've ever done - you'll have some hard days, some days you want to contact him, the lonely times - that's all to be expected.

But the greater thing to keep in mind is now you have the opportunity to find someone to share your life with who will think more of you than a chickenshit text message.
Don't ever forget that lesson, ok? And don't ever let a man get away with treating you less than decent. At the very least, a breakup deserves a phone call, not a lousy thumbed out character limited message on a 2" screen.
You're better than that. Everyone is better than that.

So take a day or two or three (or longer, there are no time restraints) and have a little sad time and do what you need to do then get up and get going with the rest of your life!
