	Yes, I do feel like a relationship with a strong foundation in physical chemistry can work. I think relationships have various kinds of potential "glue": friendship, chemistry, common values, goals, etc. The different connections can have differing amounts of pull or weight and in the end, the relationships with the most glue, last the longest. I think you can be best of friends and if the sexual chemistry if very low, someone is going to be unhappy. By the same token, with my ex we had great chemistry and some solid things in common in terms of values but no friendship and really different ideas about raising kids and lifestyle. It's what kept us together for a little bit longer perhaps but it wasn't enough.
