That Pain Inside
by Nicole Minguzzi

When I met you I was full of pain.
My heart was bleeding didn't even know your name.
Your smile so sexy and so fine made me forget my pain inside.
The walks through the city late at night.
That first kiss was sweet.
The second got better.
The wakening up with you in the morning felt like a love letter.
Things were good yeah no doubt.
I was feeling you like a desert in drout.
Hot and thirsty that's how you made me feel.
I couldn't believe this was all real.
Until one day I realized your hand.
That suntan mark it circled your finger.
Caught my eye like a diamond cut blinger.
That's when I put two and two together.
No phone calls on the weekends,
Just when your in town.
Made me realize your a married man fooling around.
That pain I once felt well its back inside.
Now I have no choice but to say good-bye.
