On My Own
by Unknown

You made me want for something that you knew you couldn't give
me
You left me craving love now only loneliness is with me
I understand you're sorry, and I'm flattered that you care
But night times when you turn to her, I turn and no one's
there

And while your curiosity is adequately sated
I don't think you can understand the turmoil you've created
The doubt that you have made me find in all my resolution
My needs and choices dissipate in whirlpools of confusion

You made me want for something I was sure I didn't need
I'm left exposed and vulnerable, my aches and yearnings freed
I'm happy in my solitude, so leave my walls alone
It isn't fair for you to make me sad I'm on my own
