HIDEAWAY
by Azure 1

On the worst days of my life,
There was a place I ran to,
A secret hideaway,
With no struggles nor strife.

It was in your eyes,
I would escape to,
For comfort,
To feel pacified.

Now these eyes,
Fill with tears,
As reality brings me,
Back to my fears

Not a soul,
Shall ever understand,
That what you did for me,
Could no other man.

Please don't forget,
What we shared that night,
Had circumstances been different,
It could've been right.
