Your soft touch, like a breeze in the spring Your gentle look does excitement bring Your smile so big and bright Could lead me into the night Your voice, like music to my ears I will long to hear throughout the years You are the breeze on a warm Spring day The sunset in the month of May Your sweet lips pressed against mine I did not know life this fine Times we share are like a sweet pastry tart These are the Whispers of my Heart - - - The moment was magic but all to brief This time apart makes me doubt my belief For we both have our own lives to live Yet feelings for each other to give And where we travel in this life We must not create for others strife You have touched my heart and soul forever No one must know, now or ever So walk with me and make my life chime If only for a brief period of time For we must in what we do always be smart These are the Secret Whispers of my Heart Back to Poetry Index
