No Title
by Ellen

My body is very much alive
My soul sings of joy
My mind has lost
The sane part of itself-

The world, the sky,
My lover and I
Sail away and fly
We sail to places
That knew no faces
Where our hearts---
will not go---
I will not taste the sweetness
Only feel the sadness
of your touch unknown-
The loss of a dream never had-
the loss of love-
and you are unaware

Your touch makes me cry-
My body only to sigh-
and you------
You will not go

We cannot put "assunder"
the vows taken
by you to another.
