Best Friend

I met my best friend when I was9, I am now 29. He was a new friend of my father's, sping by our house one evening after dinner. I had strep throat and a fever of 103. I looked and felt like hell. I remember him just sitting there talking to me and getting me orange juice to make me feel better. I fell head over heals in love with him that very minute, my only problem was, he was engaged to be married 7 months later. He started dropping by often, we started going to lunch and spending time together whenever we could. We had a friendship that was growing rapidly and so were other feelings.

Before we knew it we were sexually involved and loving every minute of it. He did get married and off and on over the last0 years we have had a sexuall relationship whenever possible and always a friendship. I have now been married for 2 years to a great guy; however, he will always be the love of my life. He completes me and is really the only person who has ever understood me completely for who and what i am. We have been there for each other during everything life could throw at us. We both have the same hopes and dreams for life, they vary greatly from those of our spouses. I would leave my husband tomorrow if he would only say, come marry me or even just come be with me. I pray that day will come -who knows if it ever will. Until then, I hold onto his last kiss, his laugh, his smile, the look i get from eyes and the thought that as long as I have a part of him, she does not have all of him. You are my best friend, I live for you and I love you.
